FAQ

When are my trees going to ship in the Spring?

Spring orders ship from early April until late May, weather depending. We will ship your products when it is an appropriate time to plant in your area. Please contact us if you wish to have your order shipped on a specific date.

When are my trees going to ship in the Fall?

Fall orders ship between late September until Mid-November, weather depending. We will ship your products when it is an appropriate time to plant in your area. Please contact us if you wish to have your order shipped on a specific date.

Why do my trees/shrubs have no leaves?

All trees/shrubs that we ship are in their dormant stage. Dormant means that the tree/shrub is no longer actively growing, therefore, loses their leaves. This way, we are safely able to lift the plants, package, and ship them to you without damaging the product. Once Spring arrives, they will awaken and emerge with new buds after a few weeks.

What kind of fertilizer should I use after I plant my trees/shrubs?

In the first year of planting, we recommend using a 12-12-12 fertilizer, or something similar, at first signs of new growth and then again three weeks later.

What do I do with my tree/shrub if I can't plant right away?

We recommend planting your product as soon as you can. Keep your tree/shrub in its original packaging in a cool/cold environment.  If temperatures are below 45 degrees, your product can successfully be stored for around a week. If temperatures are above 45 degrees, limit holding your product to a few days.

Do my plants come in a pot?

ALL trees and shrubs ship bareroot with no soil on the roots in their dormant stage.
